Mailing lists

Mailing lists are lists of emails associated with a given realm. They are used for notifying purposes in the following cases:

  • When a certificate is revoked

  • When a certificate is created

  • When a certificate request is approved or declined

  • When a certificate is expiring in specific days. The operator can configure the time intervals that correspond to how many days before a certificate expiration he will receive a notifying email.

Upon each of the aforementioned cases a notifying email, containing the event details is sent to each email of the mailing list. Mailing lists that do not contain any emails will be ignored. The access and management of these mailing lists is restricted to users with the ADMIN permission.

All created Mailing Lists resources can be viewed in a paginated form in the Administration / Mailing Lists page. By pressing a Mailing List ID or Mailing List Name, a redirection to the Mailing List Details page is being made. Here, farther actions can be triggered. There is also a filter implemented in the Administration / Mailing Lists page that an admin can use to view only the archived resources. This filter can be triggered by pressing the Show Archived button in the Actions dropdown list.
